Leave Diégo towards the three bays of Diégo Suarez. These bays will offer you splendid landscapes. Take a walk lasting 2 to 2.5 hours along the coast, starting with the Sakalava Bay, then passing through the Baie des Pigeons, and finally, the short coastal hike ends at the Dunes Bay. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to discover the largest baobab and small baobabs, mainly found in the northern region of Madagascar. D4: Diégo Suarez / Mahamasina (142KMS) 3h

Start the day by taking the road toward Ankarana National Park. Pass by Amber Mountain National Park located in the south-west of Diégo Suarez, The NP of Amber Mountain is one of the region’s natural gems. In stark contrast to the surrounding dry landscapes, the massif offers a lush, cool and humid environment, typical of true tropical rainforest. Then Red Tsingy, located 17 kilometers from the national road. Continue towards Mahamasina where the Tsingy of Ankarana or Ankarana National Park is located.

D5: Visite of the National Park of Ankarana

Early departure to catch the boat transfer before noon.

Going towards Ankify which is the place where you will take the boat to Nosy Be, pass through green landscapes scented by plantations of aromatic vegetation.

Then have a visit to Lemuria Land Park that is a park of lemurs with about ten species and many other fauna such as reptiles. Do have a good time to enjoy sunset in Mont Passot.

On the way by boat towards Nosy Komba or lemur island, take a tour of the village along small paths decorated with mats and artisanal embroideries. Then, a sports stop awaits you in search of lemurs in the mountain of Nosy Komba. After that, swimming and exploring in Nosy Tanikely 8.5 km southwest of Nosy Be. Guided tour of the Nosy Tanikely Marine National Park and take a walk to the lighthouse at an altitude of 40m.

Day 1: Antananarivo / Antsirabe

Along the road on 168km length, you will meet local artisans before arriving in Antsirabe, a lovely city of colonial architecture and you will visit craftsmen’s workshops, precious stonecutting.

After breakfast, we leave Antsirabe on road to join Fianarantsoa via Ambositra that is a Zafimaniry’s arts capital, an unavoidable visit. Arriving to Fianarantsoa, check in our hotel.

Day 3: Fianarantsoa / Manakara (Departure FCE Train: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays)    

Early, after breakfast, departure for the unforgettable retro trip by train dated in 1936. Only 170km on rail way but it will be a long journey (17 stops with loading goods). Adventurers will be filled as they wind through green carpets, cascades, torrents, to be between hills with lush vegetation.

After breakfast, we leave Manakara on good road to visit National Park of Ranomafana that is one of the most visited Madagascar’s parks and classified World Natural Heritage.
